Chuck Yeager
Considered by many to be one of the greatest pilots of all time, General Chuck Yeager has logged thousands upon thousands of hours in the air, flying through – and in many cases, directly impacting – some of the most significant global events of the 20th century. A decorated war hero, Yeager’s skill, bravery and selflessness earned him the Silver Star, the Legion of Merit, the Purple Heart, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom among many other honors and merits.
