I had just finished one of Dr. Tom Morris's books, "If Aristotle Ran General Motors", when I saw this audio program listed. I liked Tom Morris's work and the title certainly had a catchy ring to it so I decided to give it a try. This work was inspirational!! Not only did the content reveal interesting philosophical insights but the presentation was extraordinary! This is no dry subject by any means. Dr. Morris is a lively lecturer and brings many of his personal anecdotes into his program to re-inforce the message his is delivering.I learned a tremendous amount from his teachings on the Seven C's of Success and the quotes from the greatest minds of the past centuries made for an enjoyable, as well as, educational journey through philosophy.Following my first listening of this program (I've been through it three times and I'm on my fourth...learning something new each time), I went out and purchased some of Dr. Morris's other works. Each one has helped me to understand philosophy as well as life. He is a great teacher on a wonderful subject! Tom Morris, Ph.D. has become one of the most active business speakers in America due to his unusual ability to bring the greatest wisdom of the past into the challenges we face now. A native of North Carolina, Tom is a graduate of UNC (Chapel Hill), and has been honored, along with Michael Jordan, as a recipient of their "Distinguished Young Alumnus Award." He holds a Ph.D. in both Philosophy and Religious Studies from Yale University, and for 15 years served as a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, where he quickly became one of their most popular teachers. He is now Chairman of the Morris Institute for Human Values in Wilmington, NC, where he now lives.
